A three-pack of long-sleeve gowns are made with cuddle-ready cotton, a lapped neck, cinched hems, and playful prints.
I quickly learned in motherhood that I hate zip and snap sleepers for overnight. These give easy access to the diaper without having to completely undress our baby and wake him up in the cold air. Also, our baby is a boy and happily wears these dresses to bed despite odd looks from family members. He says they don't threaten his masculinity too much with their gender neutral colors. I'll report back if he is scarred for life.
I bought the brown/white/grey in size 0-3 and really liked the nightgowns overall. I am definitely disappointed by the fact that there are no hand covers on the sleeves but I see now the listing says they are only for Neeborn and Preemie sizes. Fortunately the sleeves are so long right now that his hands stay covered anyway. My baby is only 7lbs so they are a little big but we want him to be able to grow into them. I then purchased the same exact gowns in the yellow/green/grey patterns and the gowns arrived today. Completely different! They are at least 2 inches longer and the elastic at the bottom is not as tight. They came in a package that has Chinese lettering and say ‘Size premie-5t’ !?!! Not sure what to make of this. I’m tempted to return but as a new mom I don’t feel much like going to UPS to shop them back...VERY disappointed by this inconsistency of product for something ordered from the same exact listing!
Liked the idea of of these thinking it would make diaper changes much easier, but the elastic is so tight at the bottom of these gowns I couldn't bear to leave it squeezing the baby's abdomen while I messed with his diapers (baby is a long skinny newborn). Without the elastic it just rides up and exposed baby's legs anyway. Fabric is nice but I'd return them if I had not washed them all. Didn't work for us, not recommended.
